Kissamee
Kennels pointers are brought along on quail, huns, pheasants and
pigeon. Work is done on wild birds when the season permits. The
kennel's own dogs are specialist on Grouse, as well as woodcock and
pheasants. Our many satisfied customers have had great success
hunting their dogs on all upland species.
The
amount of training started dogs sold at our kennel have depends
greatly on age and maturity. The majority have had birds shot for them
and can be hunted quite comfortably.
A complete
training program is available should you prefer to have us work with
your hunting companion.
As a service to
Kissamee Kennels customers only, we gladly welcome young dogs back for
instruction. Six months of age is a great time to begin, usually with
a two month stay needed to complete the required program. We are
flexible as to the amount of training you may request and will
customize our program to suit your needs. You are always welcome to
come see your dog's progress as it is being made.
